Well I needed some hydraulic fluid for my tractor and wasn’t sure what to go for. So I did a quick search on the internet and it turned out that I needed a synthetic polymer one. This was because it had to be biodegradable. If it was biodegradable that would mean that if I splilt any on my land from a whole or just a plain spillage then I wouldn’t be damaging my fine enviroment which I have spent years cultivating. Apparantly biodegradable oils come in two flavours, the ones that are made from synthetics and ones that are made from vegetable oil derivatives. The ones that are synthetic perform a lot better though with the vegetable oil based products having low congealing rates which means that when it gets cold you are going to have problems apparantly. So the best thing to do is to buy a synthetic. These are a bit more costly but worth it.
